The
Hotel Building Environmental Assessment Scheme (HBEAS) is an initiative of
the Hong Kong Hotels Association (HKHA) to promote environmentally
friendly management and operation practices for hotels in the region. The
development of the scheme by the Department of Building Services
Engineering was made possible by a grant from The Government of the Hong
Kong Special Administrative Region through the Innovation & Technology
Fund administered by the Innovation and Technology Commission.
