Minor Programme

Building Services Engineering (33477-YBS)

The Minor in BSE is intended to provide a broadening learning in building services systems to those who may engage in a professional career in the construction industry and those who are interested in building environment. It provides learning on the principles of building services systems and the dynamic interactions between the external environments, the building envelop, the engineering systems, and the people and activities housed in buildings, which are essential to providing a safe, healthy and comfortable indoor environment. Study of this minor will provide an understanding of how the entire building, the engineering systems, the operators and the occupants interact with due consideration of building environmental performance.
