General departmental operation and management activities, including office operation and technical staff , in conjunction with Ms. Carrie Lui leading the General Office and Mr. C.S. Leung on running our laboratory
He will also lead the Departmental Upgrading Task Force (DUTF) that will be set up for reducing workload, upgrading teaching and research output quality, awarding colleagues with additional responsibilities and duties, and others.

Research and development activities in collaboration with Professor Tang Shiu-keung, and the Directors of the two departmental research centers, leaders of  research groups and colleagues at professorial and above rank.
