Brief Graduated from the University of Sussex, UK, 1983. Joined the Welsh School of Architecture, University of Wales Cardiff in 1984 as a research assistant, becoming a research associate in 1989. Research work included building envelope performance measurements (thermography, U-value and air leakage tests) and ventilation rate measurements. Worked as a visiting researcher to BSE Department, PolyU from February 1996 to July 1997, going on to join BSE department as a lecturer in August 1997. Member of HK BEAM Technical Review Panel (existing buildings), HK BEAM Society and the International Society of the Built Environment Research and Academic Experiences
Recent research work has included the performance evaluation of
HVAC systems and indoor environmental quality monitoring. Work has
been funded by the Hospital Authority, EMSD, Paul Y-ITC Construction,
Sun Hung Kai Properties and MTRC.
