Brief
Dr. Lui is an assistant professor in the Department
of Building Services Engineering of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
She graduated from the above university and department with a Bachelor
of Engineering (Hons.) degree in Building Services Engineering in
1995 and a PhD degree in 2001.
In 2000, Dr. Lui won the David B. Gratz Scholarship,
a competitive scholarship for graduate students enrolled in Fire Science
or Fire Engineering Programs outside of the United States. The scholarship
was funded by the National Fire Protection Association, Fire Safety
Educational Memorial Fund, National Fire Protection Association, Quincy,
Massachusetts, U.S.A.
Dr. Lui was the only David B. Gratz Scholarship winner in year 2000.

Chow as the Principal Investigator and I, myself being the Co-Investigator, Department of Building Services Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, with funding awarded at an amount of $397,149 for an approved duration.
